UBC Okanagan's fifth annual Learning Conference theme “Looking for Success in Learning” invites educators to share their research and practice in sessions that will explore how educators impact learning success.

“Dr. Doug Owram, Deputy Vice Chancellor of the University of British Columbia Okanagan will open the conference with the keynote “Teaching and the University: Can We Really Change?”.The second day will begin with a keynote address by Dr. Connie Varnhagen, Professor, University of Alberta. Her keynote "Integrating Teaching and Research: Helping Undergraduate Students Learn to Think Like Physicists or Philosophers or." will draw on her experience supporting the integration of teaching and research. The conference will wrap up with an invited panel of faculty who will engage all participants in further exploration into practical ways we all can foster successful learning.
