On behalf of the Canadian Colleges Athletic Association (CCAA), we congratulate the student athletes and their college teams for the successful conference season that has permitted them the opportunity to be a part of these National Championships. Given the high calibre of athletic competition across our member conferences qualifying for these championships is quite an accomplishment in itself.

Our hosts UBC Okanagan have spent many hours in the planning to make this event a well organized and memorable experience for all involved. Take an opportunity to thank the many volunteers.

To the spectators you will witness a very high calibre of athleticism as these students give their best efforts competing for gold. Show your appreciation and sportsmanship and recognize their efforts with your vocal support.

CCAA Championships only happen with the support of local, provincial and national corporate partners we would encourage you to consider their products. I would particularly like to acknowledge our loyal CCAA national partners for this event: Spalding, Jostens, and Sport Canada.

Au nom de l’Association canadienne du sport collégial (ACSC), nous tenons à féliciter tous les étudiants-athlètes et leurs équipes pour leur succès cette saison, grâce auquel ils ont l’occasion de prendre part à ces championnats nationaux. Compte tenu du haut niveau de compétition que l’on retrouve dans nos conférences membres, se qualifier pour ces championnats est un exploit en soi.

Nos hôtes, UBC Okanagan, ont travaillé de longues heures pour offrir à tous une expérience mémorable et de qualité. Veuillez prendre un moment pour remercier les nombreux bénévoles.
